Most of you probably won’t know this place at all. However, anyone who has experienced the magic that is Beaver County, PA will. As I type this I am actually sitting within the boundary of the BC, and it just so happens that I went to Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe just the other day.

April 5, 2009I love that whole flame-broiled thing. In fact, I just had an “Angry Whopper” and it was bangin’ (translation for those who are confused with that word: it was great)! BK has been trying for years to take that crown of theirs and make it official, meaning that they would be the #1 fast food chain out there.

April 2, 2009Mmm, roast biff… Am I right Dennis? Sometimes you just can’t beat a Beef N Cheddar sandwhich. Smother some of that Arby’s sauce on there, throw in some curly fries with a chilly soda and that’s some good eatin’.
A&W ***
April 1, 2009These guys have a nice little thing going on here. A&W has that whole 1950’s burger joint vibe going for it. Granted, some of the locations just look like your traditional fast food restaurant, but some are drive-ins (like Sonic), with carhops (who are better on roller skates). How do you get more ’50’s than that?

March 31, 2009I just hit these guys up the other day and it wasn’t bad. The main problem here is that there is nothing that jumps out and separates them from other chains. Well, maybe one thing but I’ll get to that, and it’s not enough to make them stand out.
